What areas do you cover?
Our workshop is based in Thornham Marina, Emsworth. We visit many marinas across the South Coast in areas such as Chichester, Hayling Island, Portsmouth, Portchester and Fareham. Further marinas are considered and travel is priced accordingly.
Do you offer repairs or just bespoke covers?
We offer the full package. Whether you're looking for replacement covers, new covers starting from scratch or your existing covers just need some TLC we can help. If you require repairs, simply bring your covers to us for assessing and quoting. If you would like a quotation for replacement covers, simply send us some photos of your existing covers that you'd like replaced, the boat location and the make and model.
Can you replace windows?
Yes. We can replace windows as long as the main perimeter is still in tact and sewn to the cover. If the window has blown out of the canvas, this can be very difficult to replace as we cannot guarantee the original shape can be replicated. Please feel free to bring the covers to us so that we can assess them.
when is the best time to bring my sails and covers to you?
We would recommend bringing your items in for servicing when you are finished for the season, usually around October/November time. You can then make the most of our free winter storage up until April!
Do you wash sails too?
Absolutely! We also offer sail laundry which is priced per/kg. We can weigh your sails here for you and provide a price on the spot.
I live further away from the south coast. Can you help me?
This is dependant on the works required. We specialise in bespoke covers so do not often have patterns on file for the vast amount of boats on the market. We can offer travel and this will be included in the quotation. With regards to our outdoor garden covers, we can work from measurements and sketches for these. Simply supply your sketch or approx measurements along with photos of the area in which you would like to have covers. We can then supply an estimate for you. We have supplied many garden covers and gazebo panels across the UK.
can i trailer my boat to you?
Of course. This is an option that we offer to covers than can be manufactured on our doorstep. The boat can be left with us for templating and fitting!
